We are a professional outfitter and guide service located in the heart of some of the best hunting and fishing that East Tennessee has to offer. We are located in Tellico Plains, TN just minutes from the famous Tellico River. We offer guided hunting and fishing trips in East Tennessee, Western North Carolina and North Georgia.

We specialize in guiding fishermen for trout, smallmouth and striper on the fly or spinning gear. We also offer guided trips for wild hog, predator and big game hunts.

Tri-Star Outfitters guided fly fishing trips on the Hiwassee River are available as half or full day trips. They are also available as a wade fishing or float fishing option, depending on the water release schedules. We also specialize in multi-day guided adventures.

Tri-Star Outfitters guided fly fishing trips on the Tellico River are also available as half or full day trips, but this is a wade fishing destination only due to its smaller size.

Tri-Star Outfitters guided fishing trips on the Tennessee River system are also available as half or full day trips. These trips are float fishing only and we are fishing out of a bass boat targeting large stripers. These trips provide the possibility of catching several different species of fish due to the large diversity of fish present in this ecosystem. Although we generally target large stripers, it is not unusual to also catch smallmouth, largemouth and spotted bass, catfish, walleye, drum, crappie and many others on any given day fishing below these dams.
